The complete interior renovation of the historic Hotel Prince de Ligne in Teplice was carried out in four carefully planned stages. Each phase combined respect for the building’s architectural heritage with modern design and functionality. The first stage included the transformation of the restaurant, reception and breakfast lounge, featuring new layout solutions, custom-made furniture, travertine floors, stylish wallpaper, and fully updated electrical installations. A highlight was the restoration of original chandeliers, discovered packed away in the attic, which now illuminate the new interiors with historical elegance.
The second phase focused on the conference halls and three salons. Original wooden floors and wall paneling were restored, and seating was carefully refurbished. The interiors were enhanced with a mix of antique and modern furniture, complemented by curtains, drapes and framed artwork. A unique element of this renovation is a grand piano from Prague’s Municipal House, restored and tuned by NAVO’s expert team, adding a distinctive cultural layer to the space.
During the third stage, guest rooms were renovated while the hotel remained in operation. Each room was carefully updated — some with refurbished historical furniture, others fully redesigned and equipped with modern beds, textiles, lighting and amenities. The result is a seamless blend of comfort and classic elegance that respects the character of the building while meeting the expectations of today’s discerning travelers.
The final phase covered hallways, staircases and shared spaces, where we restored travertine surfaces, refreshed the wall finishes, installed new lighting and added a custom-designed oak wayfinding system. All spaces were completed with carpets, selected artwork and bespoke furniture to enhance continuity throughout the hotel. This project highlights NAVO’s ability to deliver tailor-made interiors with precision, craftsmanship and timeless appeal — even under the demanding conditions of a fully operational hotel.
