Kitchen layout
You can try different arrangements of the cabinets, the worktop, the island or the dining area. It is easier to see what genuinely suits the space.
The Living Kitchen is part of our showroom. Thanks to mobile kitchen modules you can build your kitchen at real scale, walk through the layout and check distances, movement through the space and the placement of individual zones before production even begins.
why the living kitchen
On a screen a design can look right, but you only get the true feeling of a space once you walk through it. The Living Kitchen helps you verify whether the distance between work zones makes sense, along with the position of the island, the worktop height, the walkways, the storage and the everyday movement around the kitchen.
The Living Kitchen works with kitchen modules on castors. During the consultation we can move them around, change their arrangement and look together for a layout that suits your space and the way you use a kitchen.
That way you are not deciding from a floor plan or a visualisation alone. You see how you will stand, walk, open, store and work in the kitchen. It helps reveal the small things that are easy to overlook on paper but decide everyday use.
what you will try out
You can try different arrangements of the cabinets, the worktop, the island or the dining area. It is easier to see what genuinely suits the space.
Walking through a kitchen at real scale is different from estimating dimensions on a screen. You can check the walkways, the reach and how the zones follow on from one another.
Together we go through the worktop height and the placement of drawers, appliances, the sink, the hob and the storage, so the kitchen matches the way you will use it.
Cutlery inserts, internal drawer dividers, plate holders, separators and pull-outs can all be seen and tried out on the spot.
In the showroom you can also compare decors, veneers, worktops, edges, hardware and other details that are difficult to choose from a visualisation.
The more you verify up front, the calmer the path from the design to the finished kitchen.
how it works
The showroom is by prior arrangement only. That gives us enough time to devote to your project and to prepare for what you want to work through.
Together we talk about the space you are working with, how you use a kitchen, what does not suit you today and what you expect from the new one.
Using the mobile modules we verify the layout, the movement, the walkways, the work zones and other details that are best judged in the space itself.
After the meeting we know what makes sense to work through further in the design. As needed we follow up with material selection, technical checks and preparing a quote.
when it helps most
The Living Kitchen makes sense when you are planning a new bespoke kitchen and want to be sure its layout will work in everyday use. It helps with planning the island, the storage, the work zones, the appliances and how the kitchen connects to the dining or living area.
You do not need a finished project to visit the Living Kitchen. A floor plan, basic dimensions, photographs of the space, inspiration or a design from an architect or designer all help. The better we can see what you are working with, the more precisely we can talk about the layout, the materials and the next steps.
