The kitchen was designed and made to order to the client's individual requirements. It combines lacquered fronts in matt RAL 1019 with carcasses in Kronodesign K096 SU laminated board.
The striking detail of the wall units is a milled relief designed specifically for this project. The fronts were first machined on a CNC and then lacquered, which gives the milling and the surrounding surface the same matt finish.
The worktop, the wall cladding and the sink are all made from the same Pulpis Ivory ceramic. A single material creates one continuous surface and lets the contrasting black details stand out: the tap, the soap dispenser and the slim shelf between the worktop and the wall units.
The shelf is made from 2 mm steel sheet lacquered in RAL 9004. Integrated LED lighting completes the work area. The drawers run on Blum MERIVOBOX hardware and the set is completed by De Dietrich built-in appliances.
The living room wall continues from the kitchen in black Egger U999 SU. An open bookcase frames the television area, integrated LED lighting runs along the shelves, and the lower part of the unit is made up of drawers with Blum MERIVOBOX hardware.
The drawer fronts are lacquered matt in RAL 9004 on both sides, including the inner faces. The furniture keeps the same finish even when the drawers are open.
Next to the black bookcase, the fireplace wall continues with plasterboard cladding and a decorative render. Its light surface contrasts with the furniture and picks up the ceramic surfaces in the kitchen.
The same approach continues in the rest of the apartment. The fitted wardrobes in the hallway use the full height up to the ceiling and are complemented by an open niche with an upholstered seat and shelves.
In the bedroom we combined solid wardrobe fronts with a glazed section in a black frame that picks up the dark elements used elsewhere in the interior.
We also made the vanity units to measure. In the bathroom the storage is a drawer unit in matt black; in the separate toilet we adapted the same principle to a much smaller space.
The black furniture, together with the taps and other fittings, carries the material and colour combination of the living area through into the bathroom and toilet.
The rooms are held together by the same handwriting: materials, shades and recurring details. Bespoke furniture runs through the whole apartment, from the kitchen and living area to the hallway, bedroom and bathroom.
