In the Ore Mountains, a modern family house was realized, whose design and interior come from the studio Kastner Hodek Architekti. The project was created as a whole, from the initial studies to the final interior solution. For the bespoke furnishing and detailed workmanship of the furniture, the NAVO team was chosen, which provided the complete supply of bespoke furniture elements. The goal was to create an interior that would be durable and easy to maintain over the long term, but at the same time would retain its aesthetic value and would not be subject to short-term trends.
The dominant feature of the entire house became the exposed concrete ceiling, which gives the interior a distinctive character and underlines its timelessness. In contrast to it, solid oak flooring was used, which warms the space and brings into it the natural structure of natural wood. An important element is the bespoke furniture from the NAVO workshop, which was conceived so as to perfectly match the architecture of the house and at the same time offer practical solutions for everyday life. The overall concept thus combines a modern architectural expression with natural materials.
For the furniture solutions, white lacquered boards Egger Perfect Sense W1100 PM were chosen in combination with brushed oak veneer, which is treated with natural Osmo wax. The kitchen and bathrooms are complemented by a black Egger compact board U999 ST76, which stands out for its durability and contrasting appearance. All movement of the furniture is ensured by Blum brand hardware, which is a guarantee of long life and reliability. Thanks to the careful selection of materials and precise workmanship, an interior was created that combines practicality, functionality and a high aesthetic level.
The furnishing also includes kitchen technology from the brand AEG, a Franke sink and tap and an atypically designed extractor hood with an individually designed exhaust. The overall interior solution was also contributed to by the doors between the living room and the hallway, which were part of the NAVO supply and ensure a visual and functional connection of the individual parts of the house. The result is an interior that respects the setting of a wood-clad mountain house and at the same time provides modern comfort. The space thus ages naturally, with nobility and with an emphasis on the quality of the materials used and the details of workmanship.
